Rolls-Royce launches its latest limited-edition Ghost model called Prism, inspired by the world of contemporary design. To celebrate its 120th anniversary, the luxury carmaker decided to reveal a model with a bronze body finish, burnt flowers and black highlights, subtly complemented by four bold tonal accents . Customers can choose from four vibrant colors: Forged Yellow, Phoenix Red, Flame Orange and Turquoise Blue. Any of four colors to match the exterior color. Accent color is then applied to the lower bumper inserts, brake calipers and body contours.
At the same time, the four colors will also be applied to the interior, and finally 1,040 "stars" of the same color can be seen in the customized starlight roof lining. The limited-edition Ghost "Prism" model is an extension of the personal aesthetic of a select group of tastemakers. The car's innovative use of dark, neutral tones and subtle color accents places it firmly within the contemporary luxury landscape.
Other exterior highlights include high-gloss burnished surfaces (glossy grille and rear lid). To achieve this effect, each metal piece ultimately had to be prepared by hand and polished individually. Meanwhile, the front bumper and side profile highlights are also finished in deep gloss black to match the bodywork.
The limited-edition Ghost "Prism" gunmetal gray exterior colorway requires a 10-step process to produce and is applied with four different coats of paint. The vehicle was then hand-polished for no less than 16 hours. This creates clever little contrasts between solid forms and "bright spectrum" tones.
In terms of performance, the limited-edition Ghost "Prism" is no different, you can still expect a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, outputting 563 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is completed in 4.6 seconds, which is very fast for a car weighing 2.5 tons.
Since this year is the 120th anniversary of the founding of the company, Rolls-Royce has decided to produce only 120 units of the new Ghost "Prism". These 120 limited editions will be available to buyers around the world, which means they will not be cheap. And they're likely to increase in value over time, so expect them to be ordered up quickly.
For some special customers, if this is not enough, you can always choose a higher level Ghost's Black Badge series, which has 591 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. This series of models can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in only 4.1 seconds. Of course, this is on the basis that you are not short of money.
