How often do you need to service a Sprinter

For Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the maintenance schedules follow a different Service A and Service B system. Whichever comes first, Service B will be performed 20,000 miles or two years after Service A, and Service A or Service B will be performed every 20,000 miles or two years in

Service A includes the following.

Change engine oil and oil filter

Check the brake system including brake pads and brake fluid

Check tire pressure

Check the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and refill it if necessary.

Check the condition of the V-belt.

Perform a visual inspection including physical defects In the event of an accident, wipe down paint, lights, windscreen, seat belt on pipes and lines including damage, plumbing, exhaust systems, battery extensions in the steering and suspension system.

Lubricate the coupling and rear door seals.

 


In addition to all the resources available from Service A, Service B also includes:

Replace the fuel filter.

Change the brake fluid

 
3

Replace the cabin air filter.

 

 

For 2009 and later models, Service A intervals occur every 20,000 miles or 2 years following the completion of a new emissions recall. and 80,000 miles.
