Service A of your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, often referred to as "Oil Plus" service, includes some additional checks and maintenance work. For example this may include inspecting the vehicle for rust, hazards and paint damage, as well as lubrication of the trailer harness.

Service A is part of the vehicle maintenance cycle and includes the following items:
1. Change engine oil and oil filter.
2. Braking system inspection, including brake pad wear and brake fluid replacement (additional charges may apply if necessary).
3. Check tire pressure (including spare tire).
4. Check the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) reservoir and fill it (additional charges may apply if necessary).
5. Check the condition of the V-belt.
6. Conduct a visual inspection of components including corrosion, accident damage, paint damage, car lights, windshield wipers, seat belts, hoses and lines, fluid reservoirs, transmission system, steering and suspension systems, auxiliary batteries, and so on.
7. Lubricate the trailer harness and rear door hinge.
During primary service A some special maintenance work may be performed, such as tightening the rear axle U-bolts. While the vehicle is in use, other checks may be required, such as changing the V-belt every four oil changes.
Service A is typically performed after the vehicle has been driven for 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. For 2009 and newer models, service interval A is every 20,000 miles or 2 years after Benz completes a new emissions recall.
Please note that service specifics may vary depending on vehicle model and year, and additional inspections or service may be required. It is recommended that you consult your vehicle's service manual or an authorized Sprinter dealer for an accurate list of service items.
