Renowned Fiat and Abarth tuner Pogea Racing has developed a 'performance' version of the Alfa Romeo 4C called the Nemesis, giving it more aerodynamics, a more stealthy stance and more power.
Starting with the exterior, Pogea Racing modified a custom front bumper with an integrated spoiler, matching side skirts, and a large wing mounted at the rear to aid in downforce.
A set of 18-inch front and 19-inch rear lightweight alloy wheels were also modified. There were some changes to the interior as well, with leather and Alcantara used for upholstery, however, the most exciting part was the engine. Pogea has heavily modified the 4C's 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
For the uninitiated, its capacity has been expanded to 1.95 liters to produce more combustion. There's also a bigger turbocharger, new crankshaft, forged pistons and larger intake valves. Some front end modification work was also done to help the engine breathe.
The result is an impressive 356kW of engine power, up from the stock 177kW. Torque has also increased from 350Nm to a V8-like 535Nm.
All of this produces more tailpipe sound thanks to a custom exhaust setup with carbon outlets, while an improved dual-clutch transmission contributes to the performance handling feel.
The sprint from 0-100km / h with stock dynamics usually takes 4.5 seconds. And now the sprint is over in just 3.6 seconds. We're guessing it could be even faster and more grippy. Top speed is now 308km/h, up from 258km/h in the standard 4C, and it's understood that Pogea Racing plans to produce just five of these cars, one of which has apparently already gone to its Australian buyer.
