Tesla Plans To Produce An Entry-level Electric Vehicle in Germany.

Nov 09, 2023

Recently, overseas media reported that people familiar with the matter revealed that Tesla plans to produce 25,000 euros (about 194,900 yuan) of entry-level electric vehicles in the German factory first. It is said that when Musk visited the German super factory last week, the news had already been dramatized. A person familiar with the matter confirmed Musk's statement, but there was no specific time.

Tesla officials have not made any statement about this, but this entry-level electric car may not be limited to production in Germany. It has been reported that it may leave the factory in India or Mexico.

Along with the news report, overseas media also exposed the latest renderings of this electric car, which is completely different from the hatchback Model 3 that appeared before. The latest version shows another design, such as a variant of Cybertruck pickup.

The appearance mostly uses sharp lines, but some of them have good streamline, and the extended wheel eyebrows also strengthen their hard-core style. At the same time, they are equipped with hidden door handles and frameless windows.

According to previous news, this entry-level electric vehicle will adopt Tesla's latest technology, and most of its underbody will be produced by die casting. It will be equipped with 53kWh Ferrous lithium phosphate (LFP) battery to reduce the cost. Tesla hopes to produce 4 million entry-level electric vehicles by 2030.

But then again, the renderings of this car exposed this time are a bit too wild and unconstrained, and it is out of the design category of cheap cars, so it can only be used as a reference. The real real car is not like this.
